Technical & Engineering Duties Drawing Interpretation: Accurately read, interpret, and implement architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawings. Site Layout & Surveying: Set out the site, establish precise surveying benchmarks, and mark out the exact locations for structures and excavations . Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve design discrepancies, engineering obstacles, and structural complications as they arise. 2. Quality Control & Assurance (QA/QC) Material Testing: Inspect and oversee testing of raw materials (concrete, steel, aggregates) to verify they meet structural specifications and engineering codes. Site Inspections: Conduct regular checks on formwork, steel reinforcement, and masonry before and during concrete pouring. [ Non-Conformance Management: Identify defective work or substandard materials, halt operations to address issues, and issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) with corrective actions. 3. Project & Resource Management Resource Scheduling: Develop and monitor schedules for manpower, machinery, and materials to prevent shortages or costly delays. Subcontractor Coordination: Liaise directly with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to keep different construction phases aligned. Progress Tracking: Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPRs), site diaries, and measurement records of completed work.
