About the role
Please apply only if you have relevant experience in UI Automation using Python and Playwright and strong product ownership experience Job Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, Performance testing and beyond - Define and enforce automation coding standards and best practices - Develop automated test scripts using Python and up-to-date automation tools like playwright - Perform framework enhancements, debugging, and root cause analysis for automation failures - Perform analysis and POC explorations of new automation solution sets when needed - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines - Evaluate and implement new automation and AI-assisted testing solutions - Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to improve quality engineering practices - Mentor junior automation engineers through code reviews and technical guidance - Track, report, and validate defects through resolution Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience - 5+ years of experience in QA Automation and framework development including designing, intelligent automation solutions for both traditional and AI-Powered applications - Strong programming skills in Python with solid OOP concepts - Hands-on experience with: - Playwright for UI automation - Requests/Rest Assured for API automation - Pytest or BDD frameworks - Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps - Good understanding of automation framework architecture and design patterns - Experience in coding using AI tools such as Claude Code & GitHub Copilot. - Experience working in distributed teams - Fluent in English Preferred Qualifications - Hands on coding experience with Claude Code AI or any other AI tools and proven exposure to AI-assisted test generation, self-healing and autonomous test execution platforms - Proven expertise in building and maintaining custom test automation frameworks including Frameworks supporting AI based decision making - Experience with the WATIR framework .
