About the role
Description :- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, Performance testing and beyond- Define and enforce automation coding standards and best practices- Develop automated test scripts using Python and modern automation tools like playwright- Perform framework enhancements, debugging, and root cause analysis for automation failures- Perform analysis and POC explorations of new automation solution sets when needed- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines- Evaluate and implement new automation and AI-assisted testing solutions- Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to improve quality engineering practices- Mentor junior automation engineers through code reviews and technical guidance- Track, report, and validate defects through resolutionRequired Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience- 5+ years of experience in QA Automation and framework development including designing, intelligent automation solutions for both traditional and AI-Powered applications- Strong programming skills in Python with solid OOP concepts- Hands-on experience with :1. Playwright for UI automation2. Requests/Rest Assured for API automation3.
