About the role
Role & responsibilities 1.) Site Supervision & Quality Control: Supervise daily construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and international/local building codes. Inspect civil works, including excavation, piling, reinforced concrete structures, structural steel erection, and industrial flooring. Conduct quality checks on incoming materials (concrete, steel, piping, etc.) and review material test reports. 2.) Project coordination & scheduling: Coordinate between subcontractors, MEP engineers, architects, and the project management team to prevent design conflicts. Monitor daily progress against the project master schedule and proactively report any potential delays. Assist in resolving on-site technical bottlenecks and clarify Requests for Information (RFIs) from contractors. 3.) Safety & compliance: Enforce strict Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies across the entire construction site. Ensure all permits to work (PTW) are in place, particularly for high-risk activities like hot work, confined spaces, and working at heights. 4.) Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate daily site logs, progress photographs, and measurement books. Review and validate contractor progress billings and quantity take-offs. Ensure that "As-Built" drawings are meticulously updated by the contractor as the work progresses. Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading & interpreting complex engineering drawings (civil, structural, Architectural & basic MEP layouts) Familiarity with projects management and CAD software (eg: AutoCAD) Solid Understanding of concrete technology, structural steel alignment & industrial flooring requirements (e.g: flatness/levelness for heavy machinery) Worked On Industrial Projects, particularly R.C.C Structures (Eg: Factories, manufacturing plants)
