Develop electronic hardware designs for automotive applications, including schematic design, PCB layout, and component selection. Create and review technical documentation, including design specifications, schematics, PCB layouts, and BOM (Bill of Materials). Work closely with software engineers, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of hardware components. Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to optimize designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability. Ensure designs comply with automotive standards such as ISO 26262, AEC-Q100, and other relevant safety and quality regulations. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technological advancements in automotive electronics. Required Qualifications: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in hardware design, preferably in the automotive industry. Proven track record of designing and developing automotive electronic components and systems. Proficiency in schematic design and PCB layout tools (eg, Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro). Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design. Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, etc). Familiarity with safety and quality standards (ISO 26262, AEC-Q100). Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
