About the role
As a Senior Manager, Cloud and Data Platform Solutions at AARC, you will play a crucial role in owning and leading the cloud and data platform that powers the company's applications, data, and AI systems. Your responsibilities will include managing the Azure cloud environment, overseeing the Microsoft Fabric data platform, leading a team of engineers, and ensuring the platform is secure, reliable, and cost-efficient. Role Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for owning and setting the direction for AARC's cloud platform. You will lead a team of engineers to build and maintain the Azure cloud environment, Microsoft Fabric data platform, and Power BI analytics pipelines. Your role will involve turning business goals into a well-run platform and ensuring the platform meets the company's requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Own and manage AARC's Azure cloud platform, including hosting applications, data, and AI systems - Oversee the reliability, scalability, security, and cost-efficiency of the cloud platform - Lead the delivery of Power BI dashboards and data models, ensuring performance tuning and data governance - Support API-based data acquisition and workflow automation using Make.com and Power Automate - Design cloud solution architectures for external client engagements on Azure, AWS, or GCP - Act as the subject-matter owner for cloud and data security, monitoring cloud usage and cost optimization - Manage, mentor, and grow AARC's India-based engineering team, setting engineering standards and supporting career development Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - 10+ years of experience in cloud computing, data & analytics, security, or systems engineering - 5+ years of experience designing cloud solutions and managing engineering teams - Hands-on experience with Azure cloud platform, AWS or GCP experience is valued - Strong SQL and data fundamentals, experience with ETL/ELT and pipeline design - Experience with cloud security, governance, and cost management - Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills In summary, as the Senior Manager, Cloud and Data Platform Solutions at AARC, you will have the opportunity to own and lead the company's cloud and data platform, work closely with a talented engineering team, and contribute to the growth and success of the business.
