Technology Design & Development Officer

Aarti Industries is looking for an experienced and dynamic professional to join our Technology team. Department: Technology Qualification: B.E. Chemical Experience: 4–7 Years Location: Vadodara College: IITs/ NITs/ ICT 🔹 Key Responsibilities: • Preparation of PFDs, P&IDs, concept layouts, Mass & Energy Balance for new projects • CAPEX estimation (Class 4) and OPEX calculations for process evaluation • Support pilot operations team in troubleshooting and process optimization • Participate in HAZOP, PSSR, and Management of Change (MOC) activities • Coordinate with R&D for DoE, TTD package reviews, and new molecule development • Design and monitor pilot trials along with Process & Operations teams • Perform ASPEN simulations, distillation studies, and process mapping • Technical evaluation and clearance of equipment along with vendor coordination • Support development of technology standards, manuals, and process improvements • Capture project learnings and implement improvements in pilot trial execution 🔹 Desired Expertise: • Strong understanding of Process Engineering & Pilot Plant Operations • Hands-on experience in Mass & Energy Balance calculations • Knowledge of ASPEN Simulation and process optimization tools • Experience in projects from concept to commissioning • Understanding of Chemical Reaction Hazard Analysis & safety studies • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and coordination skills • Exposure to CAPEX/OPEX estimation and process economics
