Manual Functional QA Engineer

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Manual Functional QA Engineer with strong expertise in functional and UI testing to ensure delivery of high-quality applications. The ideal candidate should possess a strong testing mindset, excellent functional understanding, and the ability to validate end-to-end workflows in Agile environments. Key Responsibilities Perform functional and UI testing for web applications Validate end-to-end business workflows and user journeys Execute API testing using Postman Identify, log, track, and manage defects using ADO / JIRA Collaborate with Development, Business, and QA teams to ensure quality deliverables Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and defect triage Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test reports Perform regression, integration, and user acceptance testing support Core Skills Must Have Functional Testing UI Testing API Testing using Postman Agile methodology Defect Management using ADO / JIRA End-to-end workflow validation Good to Have SQL Automation exposure (Selenium / TestCafe) Key Expectations Strong functional and domain understanding Excellent testing and analytical mindset Comfortable working in customer-facing / UAT environments Detail-oriented with ability to identify edge cases Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams Experience Requirement 4–8 years of experience in Manual Functional Testing Hands-on experience in API testing and defect management tools Education Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or equivalent (Mandatory) Work Shift & Flexibility General Shift Flexibility to extend working hours by 2–4 hours in the evening Selection Process Online Test L1 Interview L2 Interview Skills: functional testing,end-to-end workflow validation,sql (basic validation queries),ui testing,defect management (ado / jira),regression testing,automation exposure (selenium / testcafe),integration testing,api testing using postman,agile / scrum methodology,test case design & execution,user acceptance testing (uat) support
