As an Instrumentation and Automation Engineer with 6 to 9 years of experience, your role involves executing installation, commissioning, validation, and maintenance of instrumentation and automation systems in pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. You will support a variety of projects including greenfield, brownfield, expansion, and modernization across pharma/API/chemical plants. It will be your responsibility to ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory standards, and company engineering guidelines. Collaboration with project, engineering, and site teams is essential for the smooth execution of instrumentation activities. Calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of field instruments will be a part of your daily tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Execute installation, commissioning, validation, and maintenance of instrumentation and automation systems - Support greenfield, brownfield, expansion, and modernization projects across pharma/API/chemical plants - Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory standards, and company engineering guidelines - Coordinate with project, engineering, and site teams for smooth execution of instrumentation activities - Handle calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of field instruments - Support automation system integration including PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems - Review technical documentation, drawings, and vendor specifications - Participate in qualification activities and ensure proper documentation as per validation requirements - Ensure adherence to safety standards and EHS guidelines at project sites - Monitor project progress and support timely completion of project milestones Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering or related field - Proven experience of 6 to 9 years in instrumentation and automation systems - Proficiency in DCS, PLC, SCADA systems - Experience in greenfield projects and project execution This job offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects in pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and driving project success through efficient instrumentation and automation system management.
