About the role
Proven experience configuring and managing OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and other routing protocols in complex networks. Strong knowledge of Layer 3 switching, VLANs, and inter-VLAN routing. Experience with firewall management, VPN gateways, IPS/IDS systems, and ACLs. Familiarity with high-availability solutions such as HSRP, VRRP, and GLBP. Expertise in performance monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios) and traffic analysis. In-depth understanding of QoS policies for voice, video, and mission-critical applications. Experience with disaster recovery, backup solutions, and network synchronization. Familiarity with ITIL, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and security audit processes. Ability to work independently and lead complex troubleshooting efforts. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
