This Position reports to: Senior Engineering Manager Job Advert In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the to the Process Automation business in Energy Industries based in Bangalore, India. You will be mainly accountable for: Develop and deploy ongoing DCS system security strategies and engineering application standards and apply knowledge of security standards such as IEC 62443/ISA 99, NIST SP 800-82, or NERC CIP. Define, design, and implement enterprise cybersecurity solutions to mitigate advanced threats in diverse environments and work with firewalls, networking, and IDS/IPS systems. Apply deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as defense-in-depth, network segmentation, security monitoring, incident response, access management, OT patch management, secure remote access, and anti-malware protection. Adopt a security-focused mindset with expertise in OT environments, corporate application access control, network routing and packet analysis, and cyber threat analysis. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and act as a cybersecurity advocate across manufacturing and supply chain organizations. You will join a high performing team, where you will be able to thrive. Qualifications for the role 4+ Years of hands-on experience with managed switches, firewalls, and network analysis tools (e.g., Forescout). Working knowledge of network monitoring systems (e.g., Nozomi) and SIEM platforms (e.g., QRadar, Splunk, LogRhythm). Engineering degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in networking or cybersecurity. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Strong documentation skills for creating clear and consistent guidelines and customer documentation Ability to work independently and in team settings and Willingness to travel as needed.
