Job Title: Technical Support Specialist Location: Bangalore (BTP) Experience: 6-10 Years Education: BE/B.Tech Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent Job Description ABB is hiring an After Sales Technical Support Specialist to join the Global Process Automation Process Control Platform (PAPCP) Level 3 Support team. This role requires mandatory hands-on experience in Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and involves providing advanced technical support for ABB's process automation solutions while collaborating with global engineering, R&D, and product management teams. Key Responsibilities Provide Level 3 technical support for Process Automation and DCS products. Diagnose and resolve complex customer issues using log analysis, remote diagnostics and troubleshooting. Reproduce product issues in lab environments and collaborate with R&D for root cause analysis. Support system installation, commissioning, maintenance and lifecycle services. Manage technical support cases and maintain complete documentation. Work closely with global Level 2 Support, R&D, Product Management and Service teams. Develop technical knowledge articles and improve product quality. Participate in customer site visits and system health checks when required. Maintain technical competency on Process Control Platform products and related technologies. Mandatory Skills Hands-on experience in Distributed Control Systems (DCS) is mandatory. Experience in Process Automation, Industrial Automation or Control Systems. Experience in commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting or technical support of DCS systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with global teams.
