SAP FICO Consultant (Private Cloud) (Ahmedabad)

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with 5+ years of relevant SAP FICO experience and a strong Accounting/Finance educational background. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA or ECC implementations, including participation in at least one end-to-end implementation or rollout project. The consultant will be responsible for analysing business requirements, configuring SAP FICO solutions, supporting business users, and ensuring successful project delivery. Mandatory Skills - 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO. - Strong expertise in SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and SAP CO (Controlling). - Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation or rollout project. - Good understanding of Finance and Accounting business processes. - Experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments. - Hands-on experience in: - General Ledger (GL) - Accounts Payable (AP) - Accounts Receivable (AR) - Asset Accounting (AA) - Bank Accounting - Cost Center Accounting (CCA) - Profit Center Accounting (PCA) - Internal Orders - Product Costing (preferred) - Profitability Analysis (COPA) (preferred) - Experience in configuration, testing, UAT support, and go-live activities. - Strong knowledge of integration with MM, SD, PP, and other SAP modules. - Experience in master data management and period-end closing activities. - Ability to prepare Functional Specifications for developments and work with ABAP teams. - Experience in issue resolution, production support, and change request handling. Roles & Responsibilities - Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders. - Configure SAP FI/CO modules based on business requirements. - Participate in implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects. - Conduct system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). - Prepare functional specifications for custom developments, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows. - Coordinate with technical teams for development and testing. - Provide user training and support during go-live and hypercare. - Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions. - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and organizational financial processes. - Prepare project documentation, configuration documents, and user manuals. Preferred Skills - Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance. - Knowledge of New GL, Parallel Ledger, Document Splitting, and Universal Journal. - Exposure to GST, Indian Taxation, and Electronic Bank Statement (EBS). - Experience with SAP Fiori applications related to Finance. - Knowledge of FSCM, Group Reporting, or Central Finance will be an added advantage. Educational Qualification (Mandatory) Candidates must have an Accounting/Finance educational background, such as: - B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) Mandatory (Preferred) - M.Com (Master of Commerce) Preferred - CA (Chartered Accountant) Preferred - CMA/ICWA Preferred - MBA (Finance) with Commerce background may also be considered. Required Project Experience - Minimum 1 End-to-End SAP Implementation OR - Minimum 1 SAP Rollout Project in SAP FICO. Soft Skills - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams. - Positive documentation and presentation skills. - Willingness to travel if required. .
