Senior Draftsman

As a Senior Draftsman at our company, you will play a crucial role in transforming complex engineering designs and concepts into precise technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Drafting & Design: Creating detailed 2D drawings and 3D models based on rough sketches, specifications, and calculations provided by engineers and architects. - Technical Accuracy: Ensuring all drawings comply with industry standards, local building codes, and company quality guidelines. - Collaboration: Coordinating closely with project managers, site engineers, and architects to understand project requirements and incorporate revisions. - Documentation: Maintaining, organizing, and updating the drawing database and version control logs for easy retrieval. - Site Verification: Visiting project sites to take measurements, verify dimensions, and ensure drawings match real-world conditions. To qualify for this role, we are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements: - Education: ITI Certification in Draughtsmanship, Diploma in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. - Software Skills: Mastery of AutoCAD is mandatory. Experience with Revit, SolidWorks, or other 3D modeling software is a strong plus. - Experience: 4-6 years of proven experience as a Draughtsman, preferably within the construction, engineering, or infrastructure sectors. - Key Competencies: Excellent spatial awareness, strong attention to detail, good mathematical skills, and the ability to work under tight project deadlines.
