Job Description: As an Interior Draftsman, your role will involve technical drafting using AutoCAD to create detailed production, assembly, and installation drawings. You will be responsible for developing complex joinery details, cross-sections, and hardware specifications. Your key responsibilities will include: - Prepare detailed production, assembly, and installation drawings using AutoCAD. - Develop complex joinery details, cross-sections, and hardware specifications. - Generate accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and cutting lists for the workshop. - Collaborate with interior designers, architects, and production teams to ensure practical drawings and resolve design discrepancies. - Update existing drawings based on client feedback, site measurements, or production constraints. Qualification Required: To be considered for this Interior Draftsman position, you should possess the following qualifications: - High proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D; familiarity with SketchUp or SolidWorks is advantageous. - Deep understanding of wood materials, standard carcass/joinery techniques, and hardware integration. - 2 to 5+ years of proven experience in furniture drafting, custom cabinetry, or architectural millwork. - Attention to detail with a meticulous eye for dimension accuracy and tolerance standards.
