QA Tester (Thiruvananthapuram)

Job Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to join our IT team. As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring our software products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to develop and execute test plans, identify issues, and deliver insights to ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience for our customers. Key Responsibilities: Test Planning & Design: - Analyze project requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases. - Develop test strategies for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. - Identify and prioritize testing needs based on project requirements and timelines. - Testing Execution: - Execute test cases (manual or automated) and report on results. - Document software defects and collaborate with developers to reproduce, prioritize, and resolve bugs. - Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. - Ensure all testing procedures comply with industry standards and best practices. - Automation & Scripting: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks. - Work with the automation team to implement testing solutions that are scalable, reliable, and effective. - Stay current with automation tools, best practices, and industry trends. - Collaboration & Communication: - Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other team members to understand product functionality and testing requirements. - Provide clear and timely communication regarding testing progress, issues, and risks. - Participate in agile ceremonies like sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups. - Documentation & Reporting: - Create and maintain documentation on test results, issues, and test coverage. - Provide detailed test reports to support decision-making on release readiness. - Track and ensure that testing milestones are met according to project time .
