Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience, including: Requirements gathering and documentation Functional specifications development Requirements traceability management Business process analysis and improvement Workflow automation initiatives Process modeling and documentation Test script development Implementation and transition planning Production support activities Cross-functional team collaboration Minimum 5 years of experience working within Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC). Minimum 5 years of experience supporting end users in a production environment. Minimum 5 years of experience facilitating and collaborating with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executive leadership.

Minimum 3 years of experience creating complex requirements documentation, including : Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs) Use Cases User Stories As-Is and To-Be Process Flows Narrative Requirements Documentation Minimum 3 years of experience working independently while meeting deadlines and solving complex business problems. Minimum 2 years of experience with process analysis, systems analysis, process architecture methodologies, and project management methodologies including Agile and Waterfall. Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience using SQL or similar query tools for data analysis. 3+ years of experience applying requirements management best practices. 3+ years of experience developing training materials and conducting end-user training. 2+ years of experience refining and improving requirements management methodologies. 2+ years of experience facilitating Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions and collaborative workshops. 2+ years of experience mentoring junior Business Analysts. 2+ years of experience working with California State Government IT organizations. 2+ years of experience working with California Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) processes and documentation.
