Senior Manager - FP&A and Business Intelligence

This role is for a Senior Manager - FP&A and Business Intelligence within a leading manufacturing organisation based in Pune, focused on driving data-led decision-making through advanced analytics and actionable insights. Exposure to FP&A is helpful, the mandate is to build strong BI capabilities and enhance business and financial performance through data. Description Develop and manage advanced data models and analytical frameworks to support business decision-making. Drive data-led financial forecasting, trend analysis, and performance tracking through structured data sets and automated dashboards. Partner with cross-functional teams to extract, clean, and analyse large data sets, generating actionable business intelligence. Deliver strategic insights leveraging Power BI visualisations and SQL-based analysis to improve operational performance. Ensure strong data governance, accuracy, and consistency across reporting systems and BI platforms. Design and lead interactive dashboards, reports, and visualisations to enable real-time decision-making. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities using data mining and predictive analytics techniques. Mentor team members on analytics tools, data interpretation, and best practices in BI and reporting. Profile A Successful Candidate Should Have 10+ years of post-qualification experience in a similar or related field. Strong experience in data analytics and business intelligence, with hands-on exposure to tools such as Power BI and SQL. Working knowledge of FP&A, forecasting, and variance analysis to complement data-driven decision-making. Proven experience operating within a manufacturing environment, leveraging data to drive operational and commercial insights. Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with strong analytical orientation. Proficiency in data modelling, dashboards, and advanced analytics techniques. Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated capability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence business outcomes through data.
