Job Posting Title Senior Engineer - Quality Assurance Summary We are looking for a passionate Senior Engineer - Quality Assurance with hands-on experience in both manual testing and test automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality by designing, executing, and maintaining effective test cases and automation scripts. This role requires a balanced skillset50% automation and 50% manual testingto support robust and scalable quality assurance practices. Role purpose As a Senior Engineer - Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for fully testing the product or system to ensure it functions properly and meets the business needs. The role will involve creating and implementing testing methods, recording the test results, and providing recommendations to improve software programs based on the results. Duties & Responsibilities Define and implement comprehensive test strategies covering all testing disciplines for complex airline software features Lead the design and development of advanced test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, API, performance testing) Implement AI-powered testing capabilities (Testim AI, Copilot, Devin) that improve test coverage, stability and efficiency Lead defect management, performing deep root cause analysis and working with engineering on systemic quality improvements Embed quality practices throughout the SDLC, championing shift-left testing and quality engineering culture Mentor junior QA engineers and build test automation capability across the team Report on quality metrics, test coverage and automation ROI to engineering leadership Required Experience & Skills 57 years of QA experience with advanced automation and test strategy expertise Expert test automation skills across multiple frameworks and testing types Experience with AI-powered testing tools and performance/security testing Proven mentoring and test strategy leadership capability Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related; ISTQB Advanced or Expert preferred Preferred Experience & Skills Solid experience with AI-powered QA platforms for intelligent test generation, self healing automation and AI-driven defect prediction Expert use of generative AI (Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) for test strategy documentation, automation framework design and quality reports Deep knowledge of quality practices for airline software including safety-critical testing, regulatory compliance and performance testing for high-volume airline transaction systems Understanding of how AI is transforming QA including autonomous testing, AI managed test suites and the evolving role of QA engineers in AI-augmented delivery Job Posting Title Senior Engineer - Quality Assurance Summary We are looking for a passionate Senior Engineer - Quality Assurance with hands-on experience in both manual testing and test automation.
