This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring system performance, identifying root causes of disruptions, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The engineer collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and contributes to continuous improvement efforts, ensuring that business processes remain uninterrupted and efficient throughout the day. Roles & Responsibilities: Expected to perform independently and become an SME. Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues and minimize downtime. Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference. Assist in the implementation of system updates and patches to enhance performance and security. Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance when needed. Professional & Technical Skills: Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Palo Alto Networks Firewalls. Strong understanding of firewall configuration, management, and troubleshooting. Experience with network security principles and best practices. Ability to analyze logs and network traffic to identify security threats and system anomalies. Familiarity with incident management and problem resolution processes. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Additional Information: The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Palo Alto Networks Firewalls. This position is based at our Gurugram office.
