As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software components that integrate seamlessly within larger systems or applications. The role requires continuous collaboration with various teams to ensure that solutions meet evolving business requirements. Throughout the day, the engineer balances coding, testing, and refining software elements while adapting to feedback and shifting priorities to deliver high-quality results that support organizational goals. Roles Responsibilities: 1Providing technical feasibility and creating technical architecture for the application. 2Providing the integration architecture for the portal. 3Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies. 4Deliver high quality, unit tested code. 5Creating the HLD and LLD for the client requirements. 6Produce necessary documentation both technical and end-users targeted. Professional Technical Skills: Must Have- 1Liferay DXP - OSGI Development. 2Proficiency / knowledge / Experience in Liferay 7.X development knowledge of Portlet creation, themes development, working/Development knowledge of Hook/module, services, extensions. 3Experience on Testing Automation and Dev Ops. 4Integration knowledge of External systems like LDAP, AD, Open ID, CMS Management. 5Hands on knowledge of SQL. 6Knowledge of good development practices TDD, principles and patterns, continuous integration. 7Experience on providing technical solutions for the Client requirements. Good to Have- 1Hands on knowledge of Spring MVC. 2Hands on knowledge of J2EE specification Servlet, JSPs and tag libraries 3Hands on knowledge of HTML, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript, AJAX 4Hands on experience on OSGI. 5Experience on Rest Web Services. Additional Information: 1At least 10 years of software development experience into JAVA/J2EE. 2Minimum 3 years of experience in Portal Development. 3Minimum 3 years of experience in Liferay DXP Architecture. 4This position is based at our Pune office. 5A 15 years full time education is required.
