Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner Project Role Description : Provide L1L2 technical support for infrastructure, systems, and applications in production and development environments, both remotely and onsite, following defined operating models and processes. Act as the primary interface with users/clients to accurately diagnose issues and deliver effective resolutions across infrastructure, operating systems, networks, and application platforms, ensuring service stability and quality support. Must have skills : Cloud Infrastructure Good to have skills : Vmware Virtualization Administration, Microsoft Azure IaaS Minimum 7.5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Job Description Azure Cloud Infrastructure Lead Role Title Azure Cloud / Infrastructure Lead We are looking for a strong Azure Cloud / Infrastructure Lead with deep hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure design, deployment, and operations. The role focuses on building and managing Azure-based IaaS/PaaS environments, supporting enterprise workloads, and ensuring reliability, security, and cost efficiency. The candidate is expected to act as a technical lead and SME, driving delivery excellence while working closely with architects, operations teams, and stakeholders. Primary Skill (Must-Have) Hosting and Cloud Infrastructure Architecture (IaaS / PaaS) Hands-on experience in Azure infrastructure deployment and management Strong knowledge of IaaS/PaaS services and enterprise hosting models Experience supporting cloud migration, workload onboarding, and stabilization Ability to implement scalable, resilient, and production-grade environments Good understanding of Azure landing zones and standard architecture patterns Secondary Skills Compute Storage Azure VMs, VMSS, App Services, AKS (basic exposure) Azure Storage (Blob, Disk, and backup configuration Experience in performance tuning and resource optimisation Azure Networking VNet, Subnets, NSG configuration and troubleshooting VPN, ExpressRoute (working knowledge) Load Balancers and basic traffic routing Security Azure AD (Entra ID), RBAC, MFA implementation Defender for Cloud basics and security monitoring Understanding of security best practices and compliance Cost Optimisation (FinOps) Azure cost monitoring and reporting Resource right-sizing and optimisation Basic knowledge of reservations and savings plans Deploy, configure, and manage Azure infrastructure services (IaaS/PaaS) Support cloud migration, transformation, and steady-state operations Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and platform issues Implement security, compliance, and governance controls Monitor and improve performance, availability, and reliability Execute cost optimisation actions and track cloud spend Automate routine activities using IaC / scripting Collaborate with architecture and application teams for solution deployment Contribute to documentation, audits, and process improvements (relevant to your environment) Leadership Functional Skills Strong technical ownership and accountability Ability to lead small teams / modules / shifts Good stakeholder communication and coordination skills Ability to work in a governance-driven, SLA-based environment Problem-solving mindset with operational focus Experience Qualification 1014 years of experience Minimum 35 years of hands-on Azure experience Experience in production support / cloud operations / infra delivery Bachelor s degree in Engineering / IT or equivalent is preferred Certifications (Preferred) Azure Administrator (AZ-104) Strongly preferred Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305) Good to have Azure Security / Networking certifications Added advantage ITIL Foundation (for operations roles) Key Success Metrics SLA adherence and incident resolution efficiency Infrastructure uptime and service reliability Successful workload deployments / migrations Cost optimisation improvements Audit and compliance readiness Qualification 15 years full time education
