Packaged & SaaS App Engineering Lead

As the Packaged/SaaS Application Engineering Lead, your role involves taking ownership of the design and continuous improvement of packaged or software as a service solutions. You will manage the configuration processes, oversee system integrations, and coordinate release activities. It is crucial to set and maintain platform standards to ensure system stability, optimal performance, and alignment with both business requirements and vendor limitations. Collaboration with various stakeholders to drive solution evolution and address emerging challenges will be a key aspect of your daily responsibilities. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate, and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Lead efforts to establish best practices and standards for packaged and SaaS application development. - Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution. - Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities. Must To Have Skills: - Proficiency in SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting. - Strong knowledge of financial accounting processes and their implementation within SAP S/4HANA environments. - Experience in managing system configurations, integrations, and release cycles for packaged or SaaS solutions. - Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on maintaining system stability and performance. - Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. As a candidate for this role, you should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting. The position is based at our Chennai office, and a 15 years full-time education is required.
