Project Role : Quality Engineering Lead Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution. Must have skills : Selenium Good to have skills : PostgreSQL, Python (Programming Language), Unix Shell Scripting Minimum 5 Year(s) Of Experience Is Required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating cross-functional planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development and execution of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The day also includes monitoring testing processes, managing key performance indicators related to test execution and defect management, and fostering collaboration among multiple teams to maintain consistent quality outcomes. Roles & Responsibilities: Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber Experience in Backend testing with APIs & Microservices Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot & Spring Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle Strong scripting/programming skills in Java & Python Working experience with SQL and UNIX Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, TeamCity) Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity, code quality, and testing efficiency Professional & Technical Skills: Experience in building test automation frameworks Experience working in a cloud environment Experience with cloud databases such as Azure SQL & PostgreSQL Experience in Banking & Financial Markets Good To Have Skills: Experience with PostgreSQL, Unix Shell Scripting, Python (Programming Language). Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts. Ability to analyze complex systems and workflows to identify potential quality risks and areas for improvement. Experience in defining and tracking key quality metrics to evaluate testing effectiveness and product quality. Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to support automated testing within agile environments. Additional Information: The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Automated Testing. This position is based at our Pune office. A 15 years full time education is required.
