Must have skills : SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting Positive to have skills : NA Minimum 7.5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education We are looking for an experienced AFC (Advanced Financial Closing) Consultant with strong expertise in SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting to support a Greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation project. The role involves designing and implementing end-to-end finance and close processes from the ground up, enabling efficient, compliant, and automated financial closing using SAP S/4HANA and AFC capabilities. The candidate will play a key role in solution design, configuration, business process definition, and delivery leadership while working closely with finance stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Roles & Responsibilities Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA FI Greenfield implementation activities with a strong focus on Advanced Financial Closing (AFC) Drive fit-to-standard workshops and define future-state finance and close processes Design, configure, and implement SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting solutions including: General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Asset Accounting (AA) Bank Accounting Implement AFC framework including close task orchestration, dependencies, monitoring, and automation Own finance and closing-related solution design decisions aligned with SAP best practices Ensure seamless integration of SAP FI with CO, MM, SD, and other dependent modules Support data migration validation, reconciliation, and financial cutover activities Lead testing phases including unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and defect resolution Support go-live and post-go-live stabilization for finance and close processes Prepare and review functional design documents, configuration documents, and process flows Guide and mentor team members and ensure adherence to delivery and quality standards Act as a key interface between business finance users, technical teams, and project leadership Professional & Technical Skills Primary Skills (Mandatory): Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting Proven experience in Advanced Financial Closing (AFC) or financial close processes Experience working on Greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation projects Functional & Technical Skills: SAP FI configuration expertise in GL, AP, AR, AA, and Bank Accounting Strong understanding of S/4HANA Finance concepts (New GL, document splitting, real-time postings) Experience in designing finance processes from scratch for greenfield implementations Knowledge of finance integration points with CO, MM, and SD Experience with cutover planning, data validation, and reconciliation activities Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills Leadership & Soft Skills: Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to lead client workshops and solution discussions Experience working in a global delivery model Team leadership, mentoring, and coordination capabilities Additional Information Career Level: Associate Manager (L8) Experience: Typically 812 years in SAP FI / Finance Transformation Project Type: SAP S/4HANA Greenfield Implementation Role Nature: Functional Lead / Senior Consultant Location: India (flexible as per project needs) Certification: SAP S/4HANA Finance certification is a plus Custom Software Engineer Project Role : Custom Software Engineer Project Role Description : Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications.
