As a Data Scientist in the Payroll domain at Accenture, your primary responsibility will be to leverage data for optimizing payroll operations, ensuring compliance, detecting anomalies, and supporting strategic decision-making. You will collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and IT teams to build predictive models, automate reporting, and enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize advanced analytical techniques to analyze payroll data and identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. - Use statistical methods and tools to find patterns, trends, and relationships in the payroll data. - Develop predictive models for payroll forecasting, headcount planning, and cost optimization. - Design and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights to stakeholders. - Build automations to gather data from various sources like databases, APIs, web scraping, or sensors. - Collaborate with payroll operations teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency based on data-driven recommendations. - Translate complex data results into actionable business strategies. - Connect AI solutions to internal systems via APIs and implement REST API integrations. - Execute processes accurately and timely, escalate issues when faced with complex problems, and ensure process controls are in place. - Maintain, validate, and update process documentations and perform "Root Cause Analysis" on issues. - Strengthen work relationship with Onshore Teams and other internal teams. - Participate in conference calls and prepare 'minutes of meeting'. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. - 4-6 years of total experience with 3-4 years of specific experience in Payroll Analytics. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL. - Hands-on experience with REST APIs, authentication methods, and system integration. - Strong knowledge in statistics, mathematics, and payroll systems like Workday, Dayforce, or SAP. - Familiarity with machine learning techniques, data modeling/analytics tools, and Microsoft Office suite. - Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
