About the role
What You’ll Be Designing
- Join our R&D team to lead the end-to-end mechanical design of cutting-edge robotic systems. You’ll translate complex requirements into precise, manufacturable designs, working from concept to prototype to production-ready hardware.
Your Mission Includes ● Designing and developing mechanical sub-systems for robotic platforms ● Creating detailed 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings ● Conducting design reviews, FEA analysis, and tolerance studies ● Collaborating with electrical and firmware teams for seamless integration ● Driving DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles ● Managing BOM accuracy and revision control
Requirements What You Bring to the Table
● Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (1-3 years of relevant experience preferred) ● Strong proficiency in SolidWorks or Fusion 360 (preferred) - assemblies and drawings ● Understanding of manufacturing processes: sheet metal, CNC machining, injection moulding ● Experience with GD&T and engineering drawing standards ● Ability to work hands-on with prototypes and iterate quickly
Tools & Technologies ● SolidWorks, Fusion 360 (preferred), AutoCAD ● FEA tools: ANSYS / SolidWorks Simulation ● 3D Printers, CNC Machines, basic workshop tooling ● PDM / PLM systems for document and version control
