About the role
We are looking for a Senior Go (Golang) Developer to join our engineering team and help design, build, and scale high-throughput backend services and real-time systems running on cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience building distributed, concurrent systems in Go, deep familiarity with containerization and orchestration, and a track record of owning services end-to-end from architecture and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and performance tuning in production. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable, concurrent backend services and APIs using Go, including real-time systems (e.g., WebSockets, messaging/notification pipelines) Build and manage containerized applications using Docker Deploy, monitor, and scale services on Kubernetes clusters, including managing bounded concurrency and worker pools Architect and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, Lambda, SQS, SNS, SES, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.) Design and build distributed systems using patterns such as master-worker architectures, rate limiting, and event-driven processing Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices, including performance and memory profiling Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Product, QA) to deliver high-quality features Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design decisions Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment workflows Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring high availability and performance at scale Contribute to improving system reliability, observability, and security Mentor and support junior engineers, contributing to hiring and onboarding as needed Required Skills & Qualifications Strong proficiency in Go (Golang), with experience building production-grade, concurrent services (goroutines, channels) Solid hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, SES, Lambda, ECS, and Kinesis Practical experience with Docker for containerization and building CI/CD pipelines around it Experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes, including handling bounded concurrency at scale Experience with RESTful and GraphQL API design and microservices architecture Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts (master-worker patterns, rate limiting, event-driven architecture) Experience with relational and in-memory databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis) Experience with version control systems (Git) Strong debugging and performance-profiling skills; ability to diagnose and resolve production issues Strong problem-solving skills and ability to own projects independently, end-to-end 4+ years of relevant backend software development experience We are looking for a Senior Go (Golang) Developer to join our engineering team and help design, build, and scale high-throughput backend services and real-time systems running on cloud infrastructure.
