Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat Experience: Minimum 5 Years (Diploma) or 3 Years (BE/B.Tech) Qualification: Diploma in Electrical / BE / B.Tech / MBA / B.Com with strong technical knowledge in electrical design and automation About the Role: We are seeking a visionary and technically proficient Sr. Design Manager to lead our electrical and automation design initiatives. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in electrical panel design, estimation, and automation systems, who can bridge client requirements with innovative engineering solutions. Core Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of LT/HT panels , PCC , MCC , Synchronizing panels , ACDB , DCDB , and custom electrical solutions Prepare and review GA drawings , SLDs , control schematics , and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD 2D and EPLAN Integrate PLC , SCADA , and automation systems into electrical designs for industrial and solar applications Collaborate with estimation, production, and sales teams to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness Oversee technical documentation, compliance with industry standards, and client-specific requirements Guide budgeting and tendering processes for design-related scopes Mentor junior designers and ensure quality control across all design deliverables Required Skills: Expertise in AutoCAD 2D , EPLAN , and electrical design software Strong knowledge of PLC programming , SCADA integration , and automation architecture Familiarity with Xlrate , InstaQuote , and MS Office for estimation and documentation Ability to interpret and create SLDs , GA drawings , BOQs , and control logic diagrams Excellent communication skills in Gujarati, Hindi, and English Understanding of electrical standards , safety codes , and project compliance Preferred Traits: Strategic mindset with attention to detail Experience in MW-scale solar and industrial automation projects Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage client interactions Residing in or willing to relocate near Ahmedabad
