About the role
You are an experienced Piping Stress Engineer responsible for conducting piping stress analysis to ensure the integrity and reliability of piping systems in various projects. Your key responsibilities include: - Conducting piping stress analysis using software such as Caesar II, AutoPIPE, or similar tools. - Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations during stress analysis. - Collaborating with design engineers to ensure proper design and material selection for piping systems. - Performing troubleshooting and providing solutions for piping system issues and failures. - Preparing detailed reports and documentation of stress analysis results and recommendations. - Reviewing and approving piping design specifications and technical documentation. - Participating in project meetings and contributing to project planning and execution. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. - 8-10 years of relevant experience in piping stress analysis or design. - Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards such as ASME B31.3, B31.1, etc. - Proficiency in piping stress analysis software like Caesar II, AutoPIPE, or equivalent. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
