About the role
Independently conduct solar resource assessment and compute energy yields using industry standards simulating software tools. Ability to Prepare 3D scenes in PVSYST manually or using PVCAD Export File. Able to independently conduct technical feasibility studies of utility-scale solar PV projects. Develop initial PV system concept of plant layout which shall essentially include technology assessment, tilt-pitch optimization, DC overload analysis. Detailed technical assessment of PV modules and inverters. Conduct a technical assessment of PV plant components, electrical scheme, design, long term energy yields, project economics, financial model, EPC and O&M contracts. Manage/support due diligence solar PV project which shall include initial technical due diligence, construction monitoring, plant acceptance and O&M review. Ability to prepare Bankable Detailed Project Report for end clients. Ability to do Light Illumination calculation using Dialux Software. Support Procurement and BD team by preparing Specifications and attractive PPT. Skill Set Requirements: Expert knowledge of solar energy technology and overall Projects lifecycle. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality technical reports within predefined deadlines. Familiar with international standards for solar PV systems, and other relevant standards; Experienced with solar PV system design, inverters, wiring, grounding, utility interface and performance monitoring. Knowledge in the Procurement cycle. Hands-on experience in Solar PV yield prediction softwares like PVSyst, PVSol etc Hands-on experience in softwares like AUTOCAD, DIALUX etc Competent user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Project and Excel packages. In-depth knowledge of the Indian solar market and various policy frameworks. An understanding of the key technical and commercial aspects of solar projects Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-disciplined team. Previous experience working in consultancy and/or project development environment Academic background in solar PV technology
