Engineering Manager

Proficiency in Node.js, Java, or a comparable programming language. Experience in leading the development and operational maintenance of highly scalable, distributed systems, microservices, relational databases like MySQL, as well as in building sophisticated RESTful web services. Proven track record in the design, development, and support of enterprise-level, mission critical systems that directly affect users. Outstanding cross-functional collaboration skills, possessing a proven track record of aligning team efforts towards shared objectives and promoting team cohesion. Effective conflict management skills, demonstrating the ability to navigate and resolve disputes thoughtfully and constructively. In-depth familiarity with engineering procedures and best practices across all stages of the software development lifecycle. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, exhibiting confidence in documenting and presenting design processes and decisions. Actively engages in design reviews. A history of mentoring and growing engineers to success. Skills Understanding of frameworks like Next.js, Nest.js, PHP, Laravel. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of SAST (eg SonarQube, Snyk etc), DAST (eg Checkmarks etc) is good to have. Any SQL/NoSQL database champion. Qualifications Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 10 to 12 years of experience in software development and architecture. 2+ years of experience as engineering manager, including fostering a team wellbeing and professional growth.
