Mobile Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Mobile QA Engineer (Manual + Automation) at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high-quality releases of mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing test cases, building and maintaining mobile automation frameworks, identifying and tracking defects, and collaborating with cross-functional and cross-country teams. You will actively participate in agile ceremonies, contribute to QA process improvements, and ensure seamless product quality across mobile platforms. Your strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and hands-on experience in mobile testing and automation will be essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Perform end-to-end mobile application testing across Android and iOS platforms. - Analyze requirements and user stories to design effective test cases and scenarios. - Execute manual testing including functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing. - Develop, maintain, and execute automation test scripts for mobile applications. - Identify, log, and track bugs, collaborating with developers for timely resolution. - Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cycles. - Ensure high-quality product delivery through continuous testing and validation. - Maintain QA documentation including test cases, reports, and test plans. - Contribute to improving QA processes and quality standards. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 2+ years of professional experience in mobile application testing (manual + automation). - Strong understanding of QA methodologies, STLC, bug lifecycle, and test case design. - Hands-on experience in manual testing of mobile applications (Android & iOS). - Experience with mobile automation tools such as Appium, Selenium, or similar frameworks. - Familiarity with API testing and debugging tools. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. - Strong communication skills with the ability to work in cross-country / distributed teams.
