About the role
As a dedicated and detail-oriented Service & Application Engineer (Medical Devices), your role will involve providing technical support and application guidance for critical care products. You will be responsible for handling service-related queries, coordinating with field teams and customers, and ensuring the smooth functioning of services. Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing remote troubleshooting and technical assistance to customers and field engineers - Handling service queries via phone, email, or online platforms - Maintaining and updating service records, complaint logs, and resolution reports - Coordinating with service engineers for on-site visits and issue resolution - Guiding healthcare professionals on product usage, features, and troubleshooting - Assisting in virtual product demonstrations and training sessions - Supporting sales and service teams with product-related information - Preparing training materials, user manuals, and SOPs - Acting as a bridge between customers, sales, and service teams - Tracking pending service cases and ensuring timely closure - Maintaining proper documentation for audits and internal records - Supporting in tender documentation and technical specifications (if required) Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors degree/Diploma/ITI in Biomedical Engineering, or related field - 15 years of experience in medical devices (service/application support preferred) - Strong communication and coordination skills - Good technical understanding and problem-solving ability - Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Additionally, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales and service teams, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high service standards.
