Job Description Senior Program Manager Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead large-scale, cross-functional technology programs that drive strategic business outcomes across our retail organization. This role will be responsible for planning, executing, and governing complex IT initiatives spanning merchandising, pricing, promotions, supply chain, stores, digital commerce, and enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with proven experience delivering enterprise transformation programs, managing cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring successful execution from strategy through production deployment. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple strategic IT programs with ownership for scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, and outcomes. Develop and execute program roadmaps aligned with business objectives and organizational priorities. Partner with Business, Product, Engineering, Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, Data, and Vendor teams to deliver complex technology solutions. Establish program governance, executive reporting, RAID management, and decision-making processes. Manage dependencies across multiple projects, teams, and external vendors. Drive planning, execution, testing, deployment, and post-production stabilization activities. Identify program risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve issues impacting delivery. Track program KPIs, financials, resource utilization, and overall program health. Facilitate executive steering committee meetings and provide concise status updates to senior leadership. Ensure adherence to SDLC, Agile delivery practices, architecture standards, security requirements, and change management processes. Manage vendor relationships, Statements of Work (SOWs), contracts, and overall delivery performance. Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across cross-functional teams. Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Minimum 15 years of overall IT experience. Minimum 5 years of experience leading large enterprise programs as a Program Manager. Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar technology programs with multiple workstreams. Strong experience working in Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery models. Experience managing executive stakeholders and presenting to senior leadership. Demonstrated ability to manage program budgets, timelines, dependencies, risks, and vendor engagements. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the retail industry. Experience delivering programs in one or more of the following domains: Merchandising Pricing Promotions Inventory Management Supply Chain Omnichannel Commerce Stores/POS Digital Commerce Data Analytics Experience leading enterprise application transformation initiatives. Experience managing third-party implementation partners and SaaS vendors. PMP, PgMP, Scrum Master, SAFe, or Agile certification is a plus.
