ACL Digital is Hiring for ETL Tester with Databricks. Job Role : ETL Tester Cloud & Databricks Years of Experience : 8+ Work Location : Bangalore ( Client Location) Interview Mode : Virtual Notice period : Immediate About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented ETL Tester to validate data pipelines and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and quality across our cloud data platforms. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience testing ETL/ELT workflows built on Databricks and cloud data services (AWS/Azure), with solid SQL skills and a solid understanding of data warehousing and big data concepts. Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL/ELT pipelines built on Databricks and cloud platforms. Perform data validation and reconciliation across source, staging, and target systems (source-to-target, row count, and data integrity checks). Validate transformations across medallion architecture layers (Bronze/Silver/Gold) for accuracy and completeness. Write and execute complex SQL queries to verify data transformations, aggregations, and business rules. Test batch and streaming data pipelines, including schema validation, null checks, duplicate detection, and referential integrity. Required Skills & Experience 8+ years of experience in ETL/data testing, with hands-on exposure to Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, Notebooks). Solid SQL skills for writing validation queries, joins, aggregations, and data comparisons. Experience testing pipelines on at least one cloud platform AWS (S3, Glue, Redshift) or Azure (ADF, ADLS Gen2, Synapse). Understanding of data warehousing concepts (dimensional modeling, SCD types, medallion/bronze-silver-gold architecture). Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Azure DevOps, qTest, or similar). Familiarity with data quality/validation frameworks and reconciliation techniques. Basic scripting skills in Python or PySpark for test automation. .
