About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior DevOps Engineer with 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience to own, scale, and secure our enterprise infrastructure ecosystem. In this role, you will bridge the gap between development and operations by architecting robust CI/CD systems, scaling containerized infrastructures, and implementing world-class monitoring matrices. The ideal candidate will have extensive multi-OS proficiency ( Windows & Linux ), master-level command over modern Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) , deep experience orchestrating AWS cloud services (including EKS) , and a proven track record of managing enterprise logging and monitoring configurations. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, provision, and maintain production-ready cloud infrastructure using Terraform, managing environment state securely across multiple AWS regions. Container Orchestration: Architect, scale, and optimize enterprise Kubernetes clusters using Amazon EKS and manage application rollouts via Helm charts CI/CD Pipeline Architecture: Build, maintain, and secure high-throughput automation pipelines across multiple enterprise platforms (Jenkins, Bamboo, and GitLab CI/CD). Multi-Repository Management: Govern source control access, workflows, branch security hooks, and mirror synchronization across GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket. Cloud Architecture & Security: Provision and secure AWS resources adhering to the least-privilege model. Build secure network perimeters using VPCs, Subnets, Security Groups, and network ACLs (NACLs). Observability & Telemetry: Design and maintain unified dashboard ecosystems and proactive alerting configurations across Datadog, Splunk, ELK Stack, Grafana, and Prometheus. Migration & Disaster Recovery: Orchestrate low-downtime application and server migrations using cloud-native migration tools like AWS SMS (Server Migration Service) and CloudEndure Disaster Recovery Required Technical Skills Operating Systems: Expert-level administration of both Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server operating systems. Cloud Platforms (AWS): Deep production expertise across core Amazon Web Services: Compute & Containers: EC2, EKS, Lambda Storage & Content Delivery: S3, CloudFront Networking & Security: VPC, NACLs, IAM, ACM (Certificate Manager) Caching & Databases: ElastiCache (Redis/Memcached) Migration & DR: AWS SMS, CloudEndure Governance: CloudWatch, CloudTrail Containerization & Orchestration: Proficient with Docker image optimization and configuration alongside production Kubernetes cluster operations and Helm deployments CI/CD & SCM Systems: Mastery of orchestration engines including Jenkins (Scripted/Declarative Pipelines), Bamboo, and GitLab CI/CD, backed by advanced workflow management in GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket. Automation & Provisioning: Advanced proficiency with Terraform for state management, modularization, and cloud synchronization Monitoring & Log Analytics: Hands-on knowledge of metrics collection and log aggregation engines utilizing Datadog, Splunk, ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Grafana, and Prometheus Preferred Qualifications & Soft Skills High-Availability Mindset: Proven experience managing zero-downtime deployments (Blue/Green, Canary) for complex enterprise applications. Troubleshooting & RCA: Exceptional analytical capabilities to debug production out-of-memory (OOM) errors, networking deadlocks, data caching lags, and pipeline performance bottlenecks. Security First: Strong focus on keeping infrastructure patches current, managing SSH/IAM access keys cleanly, and securing containers against known CVE vulnerabilities. Collaboration: Clear technical communication style to coordinate seamlessly between QA, backend developers, and business stakeholders. Education & Experience Requirements Experience: 6 to 8 years of dedicated commercial experience working in an AWS-centric DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) capacity. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, or an allied engineering stream. Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory): AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate.
