About the role
As a Product Manager for Mobile Apps at our company, you will play a crucial role in scaling our mobile applications and leading our expansion into the in-car entertainment ecosystem through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integrations. You will be responsible for translating the core Action Tour Guide audio tour experience into a seamless, driver-safe passenger journey by taking ownership of feature logic, GPS configurations, and multi-platform functionality. Key Responsibilities: - In-Car Ecosystem Strategy & Execution - Define the roadmap for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. - Ensure compliance with automotive distraction-free UI frameworks. - Coordinate with engineering teams for seamless integration. - PRD Ownership & Complex Feature Definition - Create detailed Product Requirements Documents and functional specifications. - Define app behavior for various scenarios like low-network environments and offline map rendering. - GPS Tech & Core Navigation Logic - Optimize location-based triggers for real-time audio playback. - Manage offline data caching for seamless tour experiences. - Cross-Functional Collaboration & UX Consistency - Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and designers for feature development. - Guide design teams on mobile and vehicle UX principles. - Data-Driven Optimization & Product Analytics - Analyze product performance using tools like Firebase and Google Analytics. - Translate user feedback into technical directives for sprint cycles. Qualifications Required: - 3 to 5 years of core Mobile Product Management experience. - Proven track record of launching and scaling iOS or Android apps. - Strong technical acumen in Apple CarPlay Frameworks, Android Auto APIs, and mobile SDKs. - Proficiency in writing technical PRDs and using project infrastructure tools. - Detail-oriented with exceptional written communication skills. In this role, your success will be measured by the successful deployment and adoption of Apple CarPlay & Android Auto apps, maintenance and improvement of app store ratings, reduction in product-related errors, and adherence to defined product roadmaps.
