Manager - Data Migration

As a senior SAP Data Migration Specialist at Acuiti Labs, you will play a crucial role in defining and executing the end-to-end data migration strategy for our clients. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring seamless extraction, transformation, enrichment, and loading (ETL) processes. Here is a breakdown of your responsibilities: - Strategy & Planning: Define the comprehensive data migration strategy, encompassing all aspects from extraction to loading processes. - Team Leadership: Lead and guide a team of data analysts and developers through various milestones and final go-live phases. - Data Governance: Collaborate with Business Process Owners (BPOs) to establish data cleansing and validation rules for ensuring high-quality data. - Tool Management: Oversee the efficient utilization of migration tools such as SAP LTMC/Migrate Your Data, SAP Data Services, and SAP Advanced Data Migration. - Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential data bottlenecks and develop contingency plans to prevent downtime during critical phases. - Reconciliation: Design and implement automated reconciliation reports to validate data integrity across legacy systems and S/4HANA migration. Required Qualifications: - Experience: Minimum of 8 years in SAP Data Migration with exposure to at least 2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP Data Services (BODS), SQL, and SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit. - Functional Knowledge: Deep understanding of SAP object dependencies like Material Master, Vendor/Customer, and Finance objects. - Methodology: Hands-on experience with SAP Activate and Agile project management methodologies. - Soft Skills: Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate technical data issues to non-technical stakeholders effectively. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with SAP MDG: Previous exposure to SAP Master Data Governance would be advantageous. - Knowledge of Cloud Data Platforms: Familiarity with cloud data platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP for legacy data archiving. - Certification: Possession of certifications in SAP S/4HANA or SAP Data Services would be a plus.
