Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst at our company, your role will involve supporting Private Market investment operations by delivering trusted, well-governed data solutions within the Citco fund administration environment. You will be required to have a strong understanding of private equity and alternative investments, including fund performance metrics, capital activity, investor allocations, and exposure reporting. Your responsibilities will include: - Translating business needs into data requirements, business rules, and acceptance criteria. - Building and maintaining dashboards, governance arte-facts, and metadata in Collibra. - Defining data quality rules, validation checks, and completeness standards. - Understanding data quality dimensions such as accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness. - Utilizing analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in using SQL and structured analysis to identify data issues. - Working in CITCO environments with a strong understanding of investment, fund accounting, and financial data. - Documenting data definitions, business logic, calculations, and data transformations clearly and consistently. - Maintaining data dictionaries, identifying missing fields, and managing metadata. - Tracking and remediating data issues, including severity assessment, ownership coordination, and closure validation. - Communicating effectively with stakeholders, practicing Agile delivery practices, and paying strong attention to detail. Your qualifications should include hands-on experience in data analysis and a proven track record of working in similar environments. Your ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and your attention to detail will be crucial in this role.
