About the role
Role Overview: As an Engineer - Production at Adani Wind Turbine Generators (WTG), your primary responsibility will be to manage the technical aspects of blade production. This includes overseeing resin infusion, vacuum-assisted resin transfer molding (VARTM), and curing processes. You will be operating and maintaining advanced production equipment, implementing quality assurance procedures, optimizing resource utilization, and supporting continuous process improvements to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee technical aspects of blade production, ensuring precise execution of resin infusion and VARTM for optimal composite material performance. - Monitor and adjust curing parameters in autoclaves to achieve desired mechanical properties and structural integrity. - Operate and maintain advanced production equipment, including CNC routers, resin dispensers, and curing ovens, ensuring precise and efficient operation. - Conduct detailed quality inspections of blades at various stages using non-destructive testing methods to ensure compliance with design specifications. - Manage resources such as composite materials and tools to optimize production efficiency and minimize waste. - Track and analyze production performance metrics, implement measures to enhance performance, and achieve production targets. - Identify and implement process improvements in resin application, mold design, and blade curing techniques to enhance production efficiency. - Adhere to safety protocols related to equipment operation, material handling, and production processes. - Maintain accurate records of production processes, prepare detailed reports, and provide technical support and training to junior engineers and production staff. Qualification Required: - Educational Background: B.Tech/BE in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. - Work Experience: 2+ years of experience in production engineering, with expertise in composite materials and manufacturing processes. - Industry Knowledge: Proficient in process optimization, quality control methods, and safety protocols in blade production.
