About the role
Purpose/Objective Data & AI Head will enable data driven decision making, advanced analytics, and AI led value creation across the organization by transforming raw data into trusted insights, predictive intelligence, and scalable AI solutions. The primary purpose of this role is to design, build, deploy, and govern data platforms, analytics, machine learning, computer vision, operations research and generative AI capabilities that directly support business strategy, operational excellence, and innovation. Key Responsibilities of Role By working closely with business leaders, Business Technology, Software Engineering, Architecture, IT, and Cybersecurity teams, Data & AI role translate business problems into analytical and AI use cases, develop scalable and responsible AI solutions, and ensure adoption through explainability, trust, and governance. This role plays a critical role in institutionalizing data driven culture, embedding AI into core processes, and enabling faster, better, and more consistent decisions at scale. This role will report to CDO – Adani Natural Resources. # Principal Accountabilities 1 AI strategy & alignment 2 Data platform reliability 3 Analytics delivery 4 AI solution performance 5 Model reliability 6 Documentation 7 MLOps maturity 8 Adoption & trust 9 Innovation 10 Value realization Technical Competencies Agentic Process Transformation,cloud based data platforms, MLOps, DevOps and AI deployment ,Microsoft Azure and Databricks ,data engineering, analytics, OR, ML, and GenAI techniques Qualifications and Experience Professional Experience: - 15-20 years’ experience across data, analytics, OR, AI, or digital roles in enterprise or regulated environments - Handson exposure to analytics delivery, AI/OR development, and data platforms Experience working with crossfunctional business and technology teams Educational Qualifications: - Graduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related discipline - Postgraduate qualification in Data Science, AI, OR, CV preferred
