Lead - BIM

We are seeking a visionary and technically proficient leader to head the BIM + GIS vertical. This role will drive the integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) across smart city infrastructure projects. The Head will be responsible for enabling data-driven decision-making, spatial analysis, and digital twin development, ensuring seamless coordination between planning, design, and implementation teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in both domains and a strong understanding of smart city technologies, urban planning, and infrastructure systems.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Urban Planning, or a related field. With Master’s degree in Urban Infrastructure, GIS, or BIM.

More than 15 years of work experience, with over 10 years of independently leading a function in mid to large-scale organizations in the relevant sector. The candidate must have led functions for multiple locations or at a national level, with experience in MNCs, Indian companies, or conglomerates, specifically in the Real Estate and Infrastructure sectors. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in smart city projects, digital twin development, and spatial analytics, along with strategic thinking, innovation, and execution excellence .

Act as the ultimate technical authority and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for BIM + GIS systems and strategy.

Lead the conceptualization, detailed design, and engineering to develop and manage BIM models for civil and infrastructure components like roads, utilities, and public spaces.

Integrate GIS data with BIM workflows to support spatial analysis, asset mapping, and infrastructure planning. Drive creation of digital twins and smart city dashboards using BIM-GIS integration.

Collaborate with planners, engineers, and ICT teams to ensure seamless data exchange and model coordination.

Maintain geospatial databases and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with standards.

Prepare visualizations, simulations, and reports for stakeholder presentations

Collaborate closely with Master planner and other engineering disciplines, ICT team to ensure integrated and coordinated designs, manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for BIM+GIS design activities.

Represent the company in discussions with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities on BIM+GIS matters.

Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and permitting requirements in Mumbai and Maharashtra.

Ensure technical compliance and interoperability of BIM + GIS systems across functions.
