Screw Filling Line Supervisor

Purpose/Objective The Screw filling line Technologist is responsible for technical setting of machine parameters that affect the quality of filled shells. The Technologist will check and evaluate the current process and trend of production processes. The technologist decides the machine parameter setting and process settings based on input material and quality of filled shells results. Key Responsibilities of Role 1 Monitoring, control and analysis of production parameters. 2 Adjustment of recipe of shells according to their Caliber. 3 Monitors changes in shells drawing documentation, adjust technological parameters inline with changes in shell drawing if necessary. 4 Analyse result of the quality of explosive charge, the Technologist shall correct technological setting of the machine in case of unsatisfactory quality of filled shell. 5 The technologist supervises the operators, instructs them if it is necessary to carry out activities and setting of the machines. 6 Collects data and keeps record of production process (input, output, capacity, quality results and trends etc). 7 Analyses the quality of manufactured product and adjusts the settings of machines / process according to results. 8 Shall have education / training of explosive processing and safety aspect of filling shell production. Technical Competencies Equipment Selection & Maintenance-Defence,Lean Manufacturing-Defence,Problem Solving & Analytical Skills-Defence,Process Improvement & Operational Efficiency-Defence,Production Scheduling-Defence,Quality Control-Defence,Safety Procedures-Defence,Team Management-Defence Qualifications and Experience Educational Qualification: Must: BE / Diploma in Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering Desirable :Six Sigma Certified, APQP & PPAP Documentation knowledge as Per ISO 9001:2015 Relevant Experience: Must: BE - Minimum of 05 years related experience Diploma - Minimum of 7 years related experience Team Player. Analytical Skills. Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills. Desirable: Working Experience in Defence Sector Ammunition or related industry experience.
