About the role
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Information Technology) or equivalent experience. 8+ years of experience in implementing and configuring the SAP SD module, with a robust emphasis on returns management and reverse logistics processes. Thorough understanding of sales, distribution, BOM (Bill of Materials) and returns management processes, including order management, pricing, delivery, and credit/debit memo processing. Robust functional knowledge of SAP SD and its integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FI, LE). Familiarity with industry-specific best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements related to sales, distribution, and returns management. Experience in architecting and managing partner EDI communications based on 850, 855, 856, 867, 940, 945, 810 for PO, PO change, Advance Shipping Notification, Warehouse shipping, Inventory movements, and Invoice transactions. Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Key job responsibilities Analyze and document business requirements related to sales, distribution, and returns management processes. Implement and support business processes such as B2B (Business-to-Business), Make-to-Stock, VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory), Contract Manufacturing, Vendor Consignment, Subcontracting, 3rd Party, Inter-company sales, Back Order Processing, Rebates and Settlement management. Design and configure the SAP SD module to meet the identified business requirements, including: Sales Order management in SAP S/4 HANA Pricing and condition techniques Delivery and transportation management Returns management and credit/debit memo processing Integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FICO, LE, GTS) Customize and develop SAP SD solutions, including user exits, and enhancements, to address any gaps between standard SAP functionality and specific business needs.
