Role Overview : We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with strong experience in both manual and automation testing for mobile applications (Android & iOS). The ideal candidate should be capable of ensuring high-quality releases through robust testing strategies and automation frameworks. Key Responsibilities : Manual Testing : - Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria - Design and execute test cases for mobile applications (Android & iOS) - Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, UI/UX, and exploratory testing - Validate app behavior across devices, OS versions, and screen sizes - Log, track, and verify defects using tools like Jira / Azure DevOps - Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools - Ensure complete test coverage and quality sign-off before releases Automation Testing : - Develop and maintain mobile automation scripts using Appium or similar tools - Build and enhance automation frameworks using Java - Execute automated test suites and analyze failures - Generate and maintain test reports (Allure / Extent / ReportPortal) - Identify automation opportunities and improve test coverage Required Skills (Must-Have) : - 2-4 years of experience in mobile application testing (Android & iOS) - Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle - Hands-on experience with Appium for mobile automation - Proficiency in Java or JavaScript - Experience with TestNG or similar frameworks - Familiarity with Git/version control systems - Experience in API testing (Postman / REST Assured) - Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation Good to Have : - Experience with Selenium (for hybrid/web view testing) - Exposure to Flutter / React Native apps testing - Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter) - Experience with Docker and cloud device farms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs) - Basic understanding of mobile application security testing About Adda247 : Adda247 is India's No. 1 government job preparation platform and one of the largest EdTech companies in the country.
