About the role
As an IT professional with experience in Siebel administration, you will be responsible for the following tasks: - Installing Siebel on Windows and Linux platforms - Upgrading Siebel to the latest versions like IP17 and beyond - Configuring Siebel Gateway clustering and setting up multimode AI load balancing - Performing performance tuning for various server components including AOM, AI, Gateway, and tomcat - Troubleshooting EAI component crashes, analyzing crashes, and reviewing FDR and component log files - Conducting System Administration activities such as configuring application components, parameters, and troubleshooting component crashes, SSO, LDAP setup to AD - Demonstrating good overall troubleshooting skills and automating regular administrative tasks - Having preferable experience in WLS/BIP/OAS/OAP installation, upgrade, and integration with Siebel - Setting up and testing Disaster Recovery (DR) environments - Managing Siebel on OCI or any cloud platform - Monitoring system performance and administering Siebel environments - Possessing basic experience in Oracle database administration In addition to technical skills, you are also expected to have: - Strong written and verbal communication skills for managing customer interactions - Willingness to work in a 24x7 shift environment - Flexibility to travel to customer offices as required Please note that this position may require travel to customer offices as part of the job responsibilities.
