GEN AI Architect

Job Description: AI Architect Location: Chennai ( Maduravoyal) Department: Technology / Engineering Shift Time : 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM Work from office. Experience: 10+ (Male candidate.) About the Role: We are looking for an experienced AI Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML solutions across the organization. This role blends deep technical expertise with strong leadership skills you'll architect scalable AI systems, guide a team of engineers and data scientists, and act as the go-to solution owner for AI-driven initiatives from concept to production. Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership & Team Management, Lead, mentor, and grow a team of AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and developers Set technical direction, coding standards, and best practices for AI development Conduct code/design reviews and ensure architectural consistency across projects Manage sprint planning, task allocation, and delivery timelines with the team Solutioning & Architecture Translate business problems into scalable, well-architected AI/ML solutions Design end-to-end AI system architectures (data pipelines, model training, deployment, monitoring) Evaluate and select appropriate AI/ML frameworks, tools, and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP) Own technical proposals, POCs, and solution documents for stakeholders and clients Problem Solving & Innovation Diagnose complex technical challenges and design practical, efficient solutions Balance trade-offs between performance, cost, scalability, and time-to-market Stay ahead of emerging AI trends (LLMs, GenAI, agentic systems, MLOps) and apply them where relevant Troubleshoot production issues related to model performance, data quality, or infrastructure Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Work closely with product managers, business teams, and clients to understand requirements Present technical solutions and roadmaps to leadership and non-technical stakeholders Coordinate with DevOps/Data Engineering teams for smooth deployment and integration Required Skills & Experience 10+ years in software/AI engineering, with 3+ years in an architect or technical lead role Strong hands-on experience with Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, and/or Generative AI/LLMs, Agentic AI. Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Hugging Face) Experience with LLM ecosystems (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, LangChain, RAG pipelines, vector databases) Solid understanding of MLOps practices — model deployment, monitoring, CI/CD for ML Experience designing systems on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) Proven experience leading and mentoring technical teams Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and system design skills Excellent communication skills — able to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile
