About the role
As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at this Global MNC based in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the software products. Your responsibilities will include: - Applying your knowledge of Java and JEE internals, Kotlin (Class loading, Memory Management, Transaction management, etc.) - Demonstrating a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles - Working with concepts of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful services - Implementing test-driven development practices - Assessing and understanding the flow of code and its interaction with various processes and applications - Documenting processes and client demands for continuous improvement - Logging, managing, and tracking issues and cases - Performing manual regression testing - Troubleshooting bugs and issues on mobile, desktop, and web-based platforms - Testing automation builds, execution, and script troubleshooting - Utilizing knowledge of Performance testing You should have at least 5+ years of experience, with a focus on Automation projects. Your monthly salary range will be between 60,000 to 80,000 INR. This is a Contract to Hire role, and you will be expected to work in the office (WFO) in Mumbai. Your core skillset should be either in Performance or Automation testing, but you should be flexible to work on manual testing or other core activities based on demand.
