Build Engineer

Summary: In this role, you will be a key contributor to the DevOps workflow, supporting critical product teams by providing technical expertise and leadership across DevOps practices. This includes Docker, Jenkins, GitLab, CI/CD, Cloud Infrastructure, Microservices, and SRE practices for our Digital Electronics software vertical. You will play a pivotal role on the team, supporting AIX and Linux-based systems, and establishing scalable DevOps patterns. Your work will help define best practices and drive the standardization of DevOps methodologies across the Company. Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD. Support migrations to GitLab pipelines where required. Provide infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and AWS services. Ensure security and compliance via scans, patching, IAM, and documentation. Collaborate with Cloud, Network, Security, QA, and Engineering teams. Support testing and validation with QA and product teams. Support AIX and Linux environments. Document architecture, deployments, and runbooks. Provide knowledge transfer to engineering/support teams. Requirements: 3 years in DevOps, cloud, or systems engineering. Experience with Linux and/or AIX systems. Experience with Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD. Java application deployment and troubleshooting experience. Any AWS experience: EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC. Terraform for infrastructure provisioning. Strong networking fundamentals. Experience with microservices and scalable systems. Strong troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Required Skills: Collaborate with global DevOps, Cloud, QA, Security, and Engineering teams. Deliver solutions aligned with timelines. Provide updates on risks, blockers, and dependencies. Work independently with ownership. Support US time zone overlap. Preferred Skills: AIX system administration experience. GitOps knowledge.
